This Privacy Policy describes how sun-calc.com ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use this website. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about data practices.
When you use the calculator, you may enter a home address. This address is transmitted directly to Google's servers to display a map and retrieve solar data. We do not store your address on any server we control.
We store a single usage counter in your browser's localStorage to limit the number of analyses per day. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. It contains only a date and a count — no personal information.
This application makes requests to third-party APIs on your behalf. By using the calculator, you acknowledge that your data (including your entered address and location coordinates) is transmitted to these services under their respective privacy policies:
